MLS Aces Week 30 Team of the Week

MLS Aces Week 30 Team of the Week

Week 30 was a fantastic week on the field for so many teams and players. Teams securing playoff spots, individual players stepping up, and fans being able to enjoy some classic MLS moments (shouts to Wondo in the stands). Frei had himself a big game as he had to come up with 10 saves to keep a shutout and a win over San Jose who is still playing tough. Defensively… not great from many people this week. Hasani Dotson (my MLS Rookie of the Year frontrunner) had the best defensive week from me even though he only played in one of Minnesota’s two games. In the midfield, Alex Mitrita stepped up HUGE to scored a hat trick in one half to beat Atlanta United. For a quiet Vancouver side all year round, Hwang In-Beom was a factor on all four goals for his side, but he was able to record 3 assists in their win. FInally, up top is another sick duo of Zlatan and Bou. Zlatan had two great games to keep the Galaxy fighting finishing with 2 goals and 2 assists. However, Bou is the MLS Aces Player of the week as he finished with 2 goals and an assist. A big week from him helped the Revs secure two solid results and the final playoff spot in the East.
