Gadi Kinda Officially Departs Sporting Kansas City For Israel
Former Sporting Kansas City midfielder Gadi Kinda has officially moved on from KC, heading back to Israel. The 29 year old returns to Israel where he won the Israeli Toto Cup during the 2019/2020 season. During his time within MLS, Kinda played in 80 games for Sporting Kansas City representing the club across multiple competitions. In his games played, he scored 16 goals and recorded 17 assists.
The crowded Sporting Kansas City midfield got less crowded with the official departure of Kinda. Erik Thommy, Remi Walter, Nemanja Radoja, and Felipe Hernandez are the potential starters from the current core. Also left in Vermes’s midfield core is Danny Flores and Ozzie Cisneros. The main thing with the departure of Kinda is the opening of a Designated Player spot on the roster. The current DPs on the Sporting Kansas City roster are Alan Pulido and Erik Thommy. I’d be interested in where Peter Vermes looks to add another DP to the roster. I can see options for a DP addition in the midfield or even out on the wing.
