Houston Dynamo Sign Free Agent Goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer

The Houston Dynamo need to rebuild their goalkeeper room, and they’ve started to do so by signing free agent Jimmy Maurer. The 36 year old Maurer has 200 professional appearances between FC Dallas, the New York Cosmos, North Texas SC, and Universidad de Concepcion.

The veteran keeper has won 4 NASL Soccer Bowl titles, one NASL Regular Season title, a USL League One title, and a USL League One Regular Season title. I would assume that Maurer is going to be the backup to whatever goalkeeper the club can bring in this off-season.
