LA Galaxy Transfer Daniel Aguirre To Chivas Guadalajara
The LA Galaxy have sold midfielder Daniel Aguirre to Liga MX side Chivas Guadalajara. According to reports from Tom Bogert, the transfer was around $250,000. Aguirre fits in with Chivas’s recruiting “rules” in never signing a non-Mexican player as he is Mexican-American.
The 24 year old Aguirre has played 10 games for the Galaxy this season, totaling around 98 minutes. In his professional career Aguirre has totaled 95 games between the LA Galaxy and Ventura County FC (formerly LA Galaxy II) scoring 5 goals with 9 assists. It never truly seemed like Aguirre had a pathway to the Galaxy’s first team, so a sale to Chivas made a ton of sense here. A way to produce, develop, and sell on players to a globally known brand.
Good business all around here. Congratulations to Daniel and wishing him nothing but the best of luck down in Mexico!
