MLS Aces Week 25 Team of the Week

MLS Aces Week 25 Team of the Week

IMG_0101.JPG

I typically don’t like to put losing goalkeepers in my team of the week lists but GOD DAMN does Maxime Crepeau deserve to be on this! 16 saves in a game where he was the only player from the Whitecaps to step up and try to play? Yup… Maxime, you made it. The back line is STACKED this week from guys who did it all for their clubs. Hollingshead and Morrow did it on both sides of the field being their sides best defenders and factoring in on the attack. I pushed Carlitos Vela down into the midfield so that I can add some extra fire power up top… but with 3 goals this week, Carlitos was my first choice for this squad. I was also really impressed with the youngster Brendan Aaronson who stepped up for the Union to keep on fighting for 1st in the East, DOOP! Up top there is NO ZLATAN, I REPEAT NO ZLATAN. My team of the week is not the Zeam of the Week (I don’t know I tried there). Zlatan did play amazing and that got him on the bench but the job that Kacper and the Cobra did this week, they deserve the two forward spots for me.
