Columbus Crew Sign Goalkeeper Nicholas Hagen

The Columbus Crew have signed free agent goalkeeper Nicholas Hagen ahead of the 2024 season. The 27 year old Guatemalan International goalkeeper has most recently played with Bnei Sakhnin FC in Israel. In his career he has racked up 204 career games between; CSD Municipal, HamKam, FK Sabail, and Bnei Sakhnin FC. He has been able to win 1.divisjon with HamKam as well as winning the Guatemalan Apertura and Clasura once each with Municipal. Hagen has also been capped by Guatemala 36 times.

Hagen looks to be a very strong backup signing for Columbus as they head into the 2024 campaign. With goalkeeper Brady Scott leaving the club, Columbus needed to add another ahead of this season. They did much more than add another goalkeeper as Hagen looks like he could be a safe spot starter if needed behind Patrick Schulte.
