Austin FC Transfer Jhohan Romana To Argentina's San Lorenzo

Austin FC have sold centerback Jhohan Romana to Argentine first division club San Lorenzo. The 25 year old Romana will return to South America after being on loan last season with Paraguayan club Club Olimpia. Romana will finish his tenure with Austin totaling 35 games played and roughly 2,100 minutes. Good luck in Paraguay Jhohan!

Romana leaves the Austin centerback core looking very similar to its 2023 version; Julio Cascante, Matt Hedges, Leo Vaisanen, and Aleksandar Radovanovic. Austin had clear defensive holes in 2023, I am watching their new front office closely over the next few transfer windows.
