MLS Aces Week 10 Power Rankings
1. Los Angeles FC:
Bob Bradley and the boys were unlucky to not get all three points against the Chicago Fire this weekend but maintained their spot top of the Western Conference. This is only the third time LAFC will have dropped points so far this season.
2. LA Galaxy:
Zlatan Ibrahimovic tasted defeat for the first time this season as the Galaxy suffered their first loss with him this season at Red Bull arena. This loss snaps a seven game unbeaten run.
3. Philadelphia Union
Philly went top of the Eastern Conference in style playing champaign football leading to an emphatic 6-1 victory vs. the struggling New England Revolution which equaled a club record for the Union.
4. Houston Dynamo
Houston's great start to the season continued with victory in the Texas Derby. Houston sitting in 3rd have played three less games than Conference leaders LAFC.
5. New York City FC
Six games unbeaten for Domenec Torrent's men. A hot run of form that saw them claim a 2-0 win away from home against an in-form Montreal Impact.
6. Seattle Sounders
Christian Roldan's suspension being revoked proved to be crucial as he scored the equalizer for Seattle in a 1-1 draw at Allianz Field. Seattle are now winless in their last four.
7. D.C. United
Ben Olsen left Caleb Porter rattled across a two-week series as they claimed the double over Columbus Crew SC. They scored their first goal from open play in three games in a 3-1 win at home.
8. Montreal Impact
Montreal again fell to a fellow playoff challenger, failing to recover from New York City FC's early goals. After a 3-0 loss away to Philadelphia it was their chance at home to show themselves as serious contenders for the East.
9. Toronto FC
Toronto became the only team this season to keep a clean sheet against Orlando in Orlando. A good all around performance from the likes of Michael Bradley, Delgado and new star player Pozuelo.
10. FC Dallas
A 2-1 loss to Texas rivals Houston continues Dallas' inconsistent results. Three away losses out of four now, Dallas will have to figure out their road form.
