MLS Aces Week 27 Team of the Week
Again… a few days late here on this team of the week, that’s on me. But I blame the international break, it has got me a little distracted. Anyway… not many MLS teams were playing this past week and we had some surprising results. To be completely honest with you guys, it was a tough week to find and pick my TOTW goalkeepers, and midfield… no real PHENOMENAL weeks. But at the end of the day Steve Clark got the nod in net and the midfield was rounded out by Diego Valeri as my last pick. The big talking points here are Nick DeLeon and Andre Shinyashiki. DeLeon had a great week over Wooden Spoon contenders and was arguably TFC’s best player. Shinyashiki stepped up BIG and put away two goals (one goalazo) to put his Rapids side up over the Sounders and quiet the fans out in the rainy city. How are you liking my team of the week?
